2nd Annual ‘Reno Bike Out!’ a huge success. Plus: Portland bike economy on NY Times video

Finally, I think there’s already over 1,000 photos up on the Flickr for the event. This shot that pfew0k took of Tyler doing the nohands leg-over is great. In fact, he’s got a great pool of happy faces.

Word. That was a great event. I think Reno Bike Project and Critical Mass should push Facebook as a place to find out what’s going on. That way Michele won’t miss these great events.

Nice photos. With all those smiles I bet the event triples or quadruples by next year.

Oops, should have put it here.
I talked the RTC into starting up a Bicycle Advisory Committee. We are working on the Transportation Plan. This would be for non-recreational (ie city street) bicycle planning. Please get the word out, people can email me and I will send them the application. Applications are due December 19th.
thanks - dave aiazzi
