TBAN & NCED’s Michael Skaggs discuss innovation-driven economy – Sept 17

With all eyes on our uncertain economy, we’re hearing a lot these days about “Innovation-Based Economic Development” – in short, looking to entrepreneurs and tech companies to jump-start our economy. The U.S. Department of Commerce and its state partners are working together to re-focus economic development organizations on these areas. On Wednesday, Sept. 17, TBAN (Technology Business Alliance of Nevada) will host a program titled, “The Idea Economy, Coming Soon to a Community Near You.” Nevada Commission on Economic Development (NCED) Executive Director Michael E. Skaggs will be the featured speaker. If you want to learn more about what Nevada’s ED pros are doing to foster innovation, this is definitely a program worth checking out.
